How the twin is built

EuforiTex models a mill in layers. Each layer records something the floor already does, so the record builds up as the shift runs. The first two layers are in use today.

  1. L1

    People

    Live

Every worker identified by card at the gate and in the department, with rosters, leave and hours in one record.

  2. L2

    Machines

    Rolling out

Every frame registered with a QR tag. Siders assigned side by side and counted for incentives.

  3. L3

    Production

    Roadmap

Shift readings entered by scanning the machine's tag, checked against limits before they're saved.

  4. L4

    Insight

    Roadmap

Quality faults traced back to the upstream machine that caused them.

People

Live

Every worker has one record and one ID card. Scans at the gate and in each department build every shift's timeline, alongside the roster, weekly offs and leave.

Recorded from
Gate scans, department check-ins, HR entries.
Gives you
Daily attendance, the shift register, the attendance matrix and the leave report.

Machines

Rolling out

Every machine is registered under its department and tagged. On frames set up for siders, supervisors assign each side, and the sides feed incentive counts.

Recorded from
Machine register, sider allocation board.
Gives you
Sides covered per worker per plant day.

Production

Roadmap

Operators scan a machine's tag to open the readings that machine needs, with values that rarely change filled in from the last shift. Readings outside set limits are refused before they're saved.

Will record
Shift readings by machine.
Will give you
Production by machine and by line.

Insight

Roadmap

Quality results are checked against each product's limits as they arrive. When a fault shows up downstream, the trace looks back across upstream machines, allowing for the days yarn spends in between.

Will record
Quality results, linked to the readings above.
Will give you
Quality alerts, line comparisons, the machines that cause the most faults.
