Workforce

Live

One record per worker, from the day they join to the ID card they scan at the gate.

How it runs

  1. 01

HR adds each worker once, by hand or from a spreadsheet, under your own departments and units.

  2. 02

The worker's photo is taken on a phone and kept on their record. It's the face the guard sees at every scan.

  3. 03

ID cards print on the office printer. The same card is scanned at the gate and when the supervisor checks the worker into the department.

Why the card is hard to cheat

The card is printed on paper. The protection comes from what each scan checks.

Made-up cards
The code carries the worker's own system ID as well as their number. A card made from a worker number alone won't scan.
Borrowed cards
Every scan shows the guard the worker's photo and name, so someone using another person's card stands out.
Skipping the gate
A supervisor can't check a worker into the department until the gate has recorded them coming in.
Double counting
A second scan within a minute at the gate, or two minutes in the department, is ignored.
Leavers
When HR closes a worker's record, the card stops working at the gate and in the department at once.
Wear and tear
The code still reads when the card is scuffed or creased. If it won't scan at the gate, the guard types the worker number and the scan is recorded as typed.
Who can scan
Only staff you've given scan rights for that unit can record a scan. The time comes from our server, not the phone.
